The exception would be for upper level business courses that are considered prerequisites for the program. Since you have to take 30 credits at UMPI anyway, it would make sense to take those courses there, in which case I would expect no problems.

I appreciate your response and thanks but I'm specifically looking for EU universities' acceptance towards those credits I know Us will not be a problem .

Germany uses the Anabin database. If the University is H+ in Anabin you are fine. UMPI is. If it is H+/-, like TESU, the transcript will be more scrutinized including the sources of credit. For Germany, UMPI is fine as a place to get a degree. You can open Anabin and confirm this for yourself.

Some other things to consider.

First, check the requirements of the master's programs you are targeting. Since you mentioned Germany I use them as an example. Similar rules hold in e.g. the Netherlands and Austria.

In Germany, it is really common, in addition to having a degree, to see requirements like "at least 60 ECTS in XYZ subject, 30 ECTS in UVW subject, 10 ECTS in Stats", so on and so forth. Generally, German universities use the conversion 2 ECTS to 1 US credit.

Germans do 2 years of Gen Eds before starting a 3 year bachelor. The bachelor has no gen eds and only limited electives that are unrelated to your degree subject. Maybe one or two language courses.

With American degrees the Gen Eds are packaged up inside, and they are half composed of Gen Eds and electives.

This means American degrees sometimes fall short of these rules about having certain number of credits in subjects relevant to the master's. It does not mean that American's cannot apply, it does mean they may need to take extra classes somewhere first.

With UMPI it is great to know this in advance, since you can add extra classes without paying extra tuition if you are inside a flat rate term. Or add additional relevant minors, etc. So make sure you know this in advance.

Second, MBA is not something you get scholarship for normally... at least not in Europe. It is a professional qualification, not an academic one. Usually the firm pays for it and it is very expensive. You may get a scholarship for the academic theoretical Masters in Management, Masters in Business etc. These are part of the normal academic offering.
I just want to know what will you guys gonna do in such situation ?

should I take Sophia's credits or not?

I'm like really really confused .

what do you suggest?

Hey, everyone. Is anyone here doing a bachelor's yourpace program at Umpi from Europe, especially Germany . Please guide me about the external credits taken from Sophia or other platforms do they accept degrees with those credits for higher studies (masters program ).

(I know for some people this question is dumb but it is extremely important to me so, please guide me ) I know Umpi is H+ listed at Anabin but I'm just curious about external transfer credits value for higher studies.

Does who accept degrees with Sophia credits? Are you referring to master's degree programs? If yes, there are plenty of graduate programs in the US which one can be accepted into once they complete their degree from UMPI.

Which degree from UMPI are you considering? What master's degree are you hoping to complete? Are these degrees for your career or personal fulfillment? If they're for your career, what career are in you or moving to?

I'm currently planning for BBA PM&IS from umpi with third-party transfer and planning to pursue master's in information system management in Germany and I'm concerned that those Sophia credits on my transcript will gonna affect my chance to get admit to grad schools in Germany.

No, you shouldn't come across issues if you're taking at classes at UMPI and completing the degree from them... These are public/state institutions, not those for-profit private entities that prey on prospective students. Furthermore, it depends on your entire package, the EU institution would accept UMPI as if it's another 'local' institution (after their foreign credit evaluation). You're not going for a quick degree mill type of credential, you're safe! BTW, I merged your thread.

So, what I understand from your kind advice is that I should go for a complete UMPI degree like the 2-year plan I discussed here? instead of Sophia credits .

Yes, do the UMPI degree of your choice, complete 60 ACE credits, it's the final product that 'counts' and it's a degree from a recognized university, it's not coming from a diploma/degree mill that doesn't have recognition from the CHEA/USDOE. Again, you're safe, any way you slice things... I mention 60 ACE/60 UMPI credits as that's a in-between-middle, just in case you need more graded credits to showcase your GPA. I suggest doing a double major or a dual degree to get the 30 UMPI credits in each, you can actually then transfer in 90 credits through ACE and have a whopping 150 total!

Thanks for your efforts.
How's it gonna work like if I'm doing BBA PM&IS 60 credits from Sophia and 60 from UMPI than during the degree do I have to request about double majoring and add 30 credits for Leadership and Management concentration and the only one BBA degree completed with 2 concentrations or
I have to transfer 90 credits from the previous 120 to the two BBA degree and get two degrees at the same time ?

You'll complete the BABA with 2 concentrations. You cannot complete 2 BABA degrees.
