First of all, I would like to say thanks to this forum for all the help. Since finding this site in February I have managed to test out of almost 40 credits on my way to a BA in Business at Excelsior. Now my question . . . it seems like most of the guidance with a BA in Business on this site (and others like bain4weeks) is channeled toward the General Business BA degree. What if I want to also go for a business concentration like Marketing? Are there exams that would go toward the requirements for a concentration like this, or would I need to take classes at Excelsior to fulfill those requirements?

There are not so many exams available for concentrations. My concentration is MIS and it's pretty well represented by tech certifications and related exams. I wanted graded credits, so I took classes online. They
don't have to be from Excelsior.
Marketing: Thomas Edison State College offers credit by exam and there appear to be 3 marketing-related
exams available. Not quite enough for a concentration, but a start. You could find a school that offers the rest of the courses you need and transfer them in.
