Just starting to explore this degree possibility (as a favor for my husband). Excelsior's website says up to 15 credits can be transferred in. Are there any exams that would count for any of the required classes? How about training received on-the-job? TIA

Does he already have graduate credits in criminal justice? If not, I'd look for an online criminal justice masters. It's rare for exams and past experience to be applied to master's degree programs. These are questions he should be asking admissions at EC. Get the info in writing from them! That way he can go back and be able to show who told him what if there are problems later.

Not sure if you’re aware but Walden has a self paced MS in Criminal Justice that could potentially be less than half the cost of Excelsior’s - even after transferring 15 credits.
