Hello,

I was reading through Excelsior's policies and noticed this page,

"Information or material submitted to the College via our Web sites, including your access and use of the sites, will become and remain the property of Excelsior College. The College will be free to use, for any purpose, ideas, concepts, know-how, and techniques contained in information or material provided to and collected by the College through its Web sites. The College will comply with applicable FERPA requirements with regard to the confidentiality and privacy of information submitted by its enrolled students."

I'm curious as to what this paragraph is in reference to? (Especially concerned what this means, "Information or material submitted to the College via our Web sites, including your access and use of the sites, will become and remain the property of Excelsior College.") What information and material submitted to the college does it mean specifically?
