Microsoft is offering some of their certification exams for $15 each until December 31, 2021:

Remember that the fundamentals exams(900 series) can be done for free through virtual training days.

Is this price covering the proctoring online or it is just MS Exam only?

These exams now have a voucherless system as of 2020. You have 90 days from completing the virtual, pre-recorded, training to take the exam.

Interesting. Earlier today I was able to schedule DP-900 for free with only a few hours notice. I decided to do it on a whim because I'm about to take a different Data related cert tonight. I scored exactly the passing score and not a point more after only a few hours of studying. I still had enough background knowledge from my SDC database courses and the other Azure Fundamentals cert I did last year.
