At $668 per grad credit ($8016 for the 4 classes), not to mention the cost of completing the master's at TESU, that's hardly any sort of bargain.

He did mention that we need to pay undergraduate fee for these courses.

And there is high possibility of increasing Waiver fee next July.

You're probably better off getting the MA at WGU.

Now, that would help, especially if you can get them for the SDC discount. The 4 courses would come down to $4548. If you still need the cornerstone, then we're talking $5685. I would think that taking the grad courses at TESU will likely be more challenging than the undergrad versions at statistics.com.

Yes, I think a student can do it in Statistics.com which has a month course compared with TESU 12 weeks.

TESU:
12 CREDITS: 4548$ + (S0S) 1137$ = 5685$ then student will be sort of 1 more credit. I think he needs to take one more course (5685$ + 1137$ = 6822$)

Statistics.com
10 Courses 5000$ + (S0S) 1137$  + waiver fee 2800$ = 8937$

My goal after graduating this coming March is to do the MS Data Science and Analytics program. I normally wouldn't be too concerned with the details right now, but I saw that someone posted a coupon for statistics.com in relation to black Friday.

I would not be doing the BS to MS pathway, because I'm about to finish a BSBA and BACS in March.

My understanding is: TESU will accept ACE approved transfer credits from statistics.com?

Are any courses required to be completed directly through TESU?

Will TESU accept statistics.com courses as graduate level credit if I have yet to get my undergraduate degree?

If this is possible, what course would you all recommend I sign up for to take advantage of the black Friday discount?

Thank you so much for the help.

--MBA (2/10 : 4.0)

I started this journey in the summer of 2016.  I hoped to be done sooner, but I am still proud of the rate at which I have gotten my schooling done with respect to the many months of military training and deployments I have undergone.

Zach, TESU only allows 12 credits MAX transfer to their Masters program. That means you must complete 24 credits from them. I usually would recommend going with WGU for the Masters in Data Analytics, you can get a Udacity Nanodegree included in the price of tuition.

Having said that, many people don't know about the Bachelors to Masters tuition discounts on 12 credits. This is also in addition to the 3 course (9 credits transferable to TESU from Statistics.com, you can transfer 3 more credits if needed elsewhere). That leads you to only doing 12 graduate credits at TESU to finish off the degree. BUT, since you're doing two degrees already, you will not have that option of doing the Bachelors to Masters tuition.

And there is always a workaround for everything, haha... and I won't get to that as I know you wouldn't do it. It's a time waster and you can get it from WGU anyways for much much cheaper.

I'm aware that WGU is cheaper, but from reading different articles and testimonies, I am not really all that impressed with it.

My issue is that the degree is expensive.. especially for being a TESU degree.  To make matters worse, the program is not eligible for federal financial aid (I still have no idea why this is an issue).  Therefore, I can't use government grants, my GI Bill, or Army Tuition Assistance.

I'd be interested in hearing the work around you've mentioned.  You'd be surprised at the things I'm willing to do to pinch a few pennies lol.

Thank you

Generally, a grad program will require all credits to be earned AFTER your bachelor's is conferred. Now there might be a way to buy the courses now on the coupon, but not work on them until after you graduate.
