Finally done! CIS, BS
#1
It took me about 2.5 years to complete 86 credits while working a very demanding full-time job. I'm sure if I realy had to I could've shaved off atleast 9 months. Chosing the right TESU courses is very important and there are a few I wish I did differently.  The information from this site helped me tremendously. My graduation date is 12/12.

I am also considering my masters but I hate writing.

Thank you to everyone who gave me advice on this site. I will try my best to pay it forward and also help others on their journey.

My Instructor was Dr. Courts.  My advice is to get the book early and start early.  Keep a schedule of when all assignments are due and complete them early.  Dr. Courts docked you points if you did not submit an assignment on time.

Did you register for or start your capstone yet?

You may want to consider the MSCSIA at WGU. Almost half of it can be transferred from IT certifications, and then I think it's basically two tests and four papers remaining.

Seeing these always reminds me of why I enjoy coming here. Congratulations on your newfound success! I was in the same situation as you. I didn't graduate from my community college alongside my other classmates -- took me 6 years to do my first degree. As for a masters, WGU would be a great option for you.
