Advice on TESC BA Natural Science/Mathematics
#1
I think I might be close to a Natural Science & Mathematics degree from TESC but I'm not sure. While I wait the 20+ days for an official eval., I want to get started taking classes to fill my known gaps. Here is a table of the requirements and what I think will cover it, please correct me if I'm wrong anywhere. I know I have way more than 30 credits listed in the NS&M section, but I didn't know if some would be more applicable than others, and the rest will just flow down to free electives.

It might be important to know that all of the CIS classes are form a local CC so I know they won't count as UL.

I really appreciate any guidance, and this forum has already been an extremely valuable source of knowledge.

There's a chance you have too many 100-level credits (6 credits is the max for the area of study). Since you hardly have any UL credits, even if those CC courses are counted as 200-level, some of them will have to be bumped out to make room for UL credits.

Edit, looked at your plan on the wiki.

I'm thinking I'll go ahead and sign up for Straigher Line and take MicroBiology, and Business Ethics. Then start studying for the Management Information Systems DSST.

What sort of classes fill in the Personal Responsibility section?

Under that category, you have Diversity/Global Literacy, Ethics, and Personal and Social Responsibility electives. There are a lot of choices for diversity, which you can see at the links below. SL Business Ethics, DSST Ethics in America, Uexcel Ethics: Theory and Practice, and TECEP Environmental Ethics should definitely meet the ethics requirement. The other options I listed haven't been verified. Any ethics or diversity/global literacy test/course can go into the electives.
