Excelsior Enrollment Options for Military...
#1
I thought I was closer to 30 credits to finish...but unfortunately I have about 52 credits to fulfill. I am going for Liberal Studies in BS. I have not yet enrolled and was thinking about doing option 2...any advice? Option 1 = obligated to take 3 classes with Excelsior or Option 2 = paying a fee of 875$...is that a one time thing, and can you pay later? -OR- Do you have to pay right when you enroll? I am not sure if I want to major in Psychology or not...I want to get this done in less than a year...I just want a Bachelor's because I want to hurry and start my Master's right after...any advice would help! Thanks!!!

You can apply without enrolling and get your official evaluation and status report to use a a planning map.

Then you can then opt to test out as many CLEP/DANTES courses BEFORE you enroll giving you greater flexibility with your one-year enrollment.

Good Luck!!

I did get an official evaluation, and I am going by that. Should I just enroll once I have all my credits together from testing out and some traditional credits? That sounds great! Thanks for your advice...

That's what many others have done recently and it seems to be working out for them.
