Ok. This may sound like a silly question, but what exactly is it that you need? Like, what is the verbiage of the requirement? Is it 60 college credits? An associates degree? Either/or?
The reason I ask it that way is because the GF was applying for a position in a school district. The requirement read “an associates degree or 48 college credits.” She did have “48 college credits” (what I’m assuming to be RA credits), but she did have her official AAS review and transcript from Pierpont that stated that she had met the requirements for the degree with 133 credits (mixed RA, ACE, and NA), and it would be conferred at the end of the semester.
In short, if the requirement is a degree, or 60cr on a transcript somewhere, you can be there in a month or two depending on how fast you work. If the requirement is 60cr of RA, I think I’d just hammer out UMPI classes as fast as I could, or something like that.

This is really important. Some police departments will only accept an associate degree or bachelor's degree in specific subjects such as criminal justice or political science. Some want at least 60 RA credits. Some are more picky than others. I would definitely review what they are specifically requiring. It would suck to complete a program only to find out that it does not apply.

Personally, since it says from and not accepted by, I read it as you need to take the classes at RA colleges. ACE technicality does not meet that requirement. Whether they would accept an RA transcript that shows 60 accepted credits Is unknown. Personally, I would be looking at something like UMPI for a good chunk of them, simply for the speed can be done, and maybe some of the free options discussed here for a few. Some people here have pulled off 30 credits in two terms, but it maybe be hard to keep that pace for a long time. If you do go for it, though, I would pick up the other 60 or so with ACE and get the BS or BA.

Waiting to hear back from my recruiting officer to see what he thinks. Departments are desperate right now so from what he’s said previously as long as you have the credits it’s ok

Actually, one thing that seems clear is that it doesn't have to be RA. It simply says accredited college or university, which would include NA schools. I do agree it would be prudent to inquire with the department whether ACE credit on a college transcript would suffice. I think it likely that it would.

My recruiter told me as long as the credits are on a transcript from an accredited source or university it counts. Don’t even need the degree, just the credits on transcript

Yeah. If that’s how they are interpreting it, go the ACE to Pierpont route.
