Gi bill certificate of eligibility
#1
Hi everyone, I just want to ask how long it takes to receive a CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILTY. I requested an updated COE via VONNAP because TESC does not want my old COE. TESC would accept the screen shot of COE from ebenefits but unfortunately my eduction benefits via ebenefits is not updated either.

It can take up to four weeks, and then another four after they receive it to start receiving benefits. The good news is that they will backdate your benefits. I just started receiving my Chap. 30 benefits, and I requested mine in Dec. Mine were backdated to Dec.

My COE took about 3 weeks to get to me. It took over a month to start getting the actual benefits.
