Going to bed at 3am , HELP!
#11
I'm still like that and I'm in my forties with kids. I have to be up at 530 am. When I go to bed around 11. - which never seems to happen - I wake up at 3 or 4. I just use that time to study. It's makes it easier to fly through credits and write papers. Plus, it's hard to get any studying done when the kids are awake. But the negative side is that when I'm not in school or doing anything productive it's just wasted time. So I try to limit caffeine, turn off screens, exercise during the day etc. Not sure how much it helps really. Some people just struggle with insomnia more than others. I tried ambien once but it didn't work. It just made me sleep harder for less time. I haven't tried melatonin. I should try that.
