WITHOUT proctoring? Or WITH proctoring? Virtually all of us who have taken Shmoop courses have taken finals without proctoring, because none of them used to have proctoring.

SHMOOP required proctoring several months  ago, but thereafter sent emails to former students stating that proctoring is now optional.The website still indicates that proctoring is required,so I am trying to clarify this issue.

I don't recall a single person here taking a Shmoop course after proctoring started. Plenty of folks here took a good chunk of them beforehand, however.

i took several before proctoring was required. haven't taken any since though

SHMOOP just changed the webpage and confirmed that proctoring is optional.
