Instructors were always responsive and helpful, and the university allowed a fair amount of flexibility on when and how many courses you took, allowing you to expedite the process to some degree if you desired. It was a great experience overall and tremendous value for the money; no regrets.

Just my two cents.

Have a great day!

Could you tell me if the classes are synchronous or asynchronous?  I am a shift worker and cannot commit to logging in at set times on set days.

Hi FireMedic. I answered you in a previous post;

Guys, were any of you admitted without the 2 references? They want it from my superiors at work or from a school I graduated in 2009. lol
I’m not broadcasting at work that I’m enrolling on an MBA. Is none of them business as they are not paying for it.

Thank you.

I was admitted without two references, but in order to graduate, they required the two references to be in the file.

Hello - I am considering this MBA. I've researched the school as much as possible, and obviously love the price, the apparent positive reviews, regional accreditation, the thesis (not common in online MBAs). My hesitation, is when you google HAU, the campus is in a strip mall...like it looks to be ~75 offices split between medical clinics, treatment centers, etc. I realize the main campus is in Greece, but it does just seem like a few rented offices?

By all accounts, this is a legitimate school, but if an employer Googles it does it get perceived as a diploma mill by its looks? (I'm experienced in my industry, but still a consideration). This isn't meant to be a rude post, I just want to get a balance of thoughts before putting an application in. Can anyone also chime in on the regional accreditation and private non-profit status, and how HAU can be compared to others on a scale?

I understand the concern. I doubt many recruiters are gonna Google map it. What May raise an eyebrow is it’s name. Kind of a funky name for an college in the USA, but if you can get past this, and not having a business accreditation it is an exceptional deal.

Many universities that largely serve nontraditional adult students who do not live on campus are located in commercial offices. This is true not only with online students but also with in-person students.

HAU is a very small college, founded and supported by a small nonprofit. The fact they obtained regional accreditation and authorization by the NH legislature so quickly is remarkable. I am considering HAU myself but have no inside information to offer. Without substantially more students, HAU lacks the funds to acquire or build a proper campus.
For the foreseeable future, I would not expect the quality of their offices to improve. The fact they are controlling expenses suggests HAU will likely survive long term.

Is the lack of Business accreditation the only reason their MBA is not more popular?
