Thanks @ss20ts!
I have access to Maine Street so I've gone back in and do see where the Transfer Database is. I'll consult that as I continue to decide what to take and when. I just want to get started but hate to go in blindly taking things I don't really need to so I need to be a little patient and make sure I have the best plan I can make.
EDIT TO ADD: This transfer database is super helpful! I am also able to look up my prior (Canadian) university too and see what my courses should transfer to UMPI as. I definitely feel much clearer about where I stand now after looking at this.

It's cool that your Canadian school is in the database! Hopefully that gives you some idea of where you stand.

I just completed by BA in History and DID transfer Straigherline's Western civilization I & II. Jessica confirmed they fulfill that requirement.

Sometimes the equivalency lists/guides or wiki documents may be slightly out of date and may not correspond, just to be on the safe side, you can always email your advisor to verify they come in accordingly before you proceed with the specific courses. These history courses are perfect examples, there are plenty as changes/updates occur so often...

The Wiki already shows that you could take CLEP or SL for HTY 115: World Civilization 1 and HTY 116: World Civilization 2.

That is true. Just a bummer CLEP is only available in around 15 foreign countries, so if you don't live in one, the cost of international travel will be more expensive than taking it online in a college
