The concept is a very interesting idea! It will be interesting to see how it works out over a few years post Covid. Covid messed up all kinds of stats and figures so it would be hard to judge based on 2020 and 2021.

It's a nice idea - probably not practical.

Having kids paying $10k for room & board is still steep - at MANY state colleges/universities in the country, R&B is more than annual tuition.

I think we're better off telling kids to stay home and work PT/FT and go to the local CC and then the local state university to save as much money as possible. If more people did that, colleges would be forced to scale back and try to get tuition and fees to line up with what people were willing to pay.
