How does one tell if a men's shirt fits on a male? What should one look for, on what sections of the shirt? Thanks.

Here's what I look at when assisting hubby with shopping:

Look at shoulders where sleeves are attached, the seam should fall at the top of the arm, where the shoulder joint is.

Buttons should close nicely and not "gap" from too tight a fit.

Collar should not be too loose or too tight.

Shirt length should be sufficient that shirt will stay tucked in easily, but not so long as to be bunched up in pants.

Maybe some men on the forum will have some other tips.
