Humble Bundle math and physics books
#1
yes, I know -- the title looks like spam -- its not
(but that sounds suspiciously like something a spammer would say)

Humble Bundle is a web site that sells books, video games and software in tiers
so for this bundle $1 gets you a few books,
$8 gets you all the $1 books and a few more
$15 gets you all the lower tier items and even more

and you can pay more if you like with the excess going to the Red Cross or Whale and Dolphin Conservation

these books come in pdf and ebook form -- not actual paper books

I've bought tons of stuff from Humble over the years -- they're reliable and not a scam site
I'm definitely buying this bundle too

Humble Bundle is legit. They do a lot for charity. I've donated to them through purchasing their products for years.

They have programming books now: https://www.humblebundle.com/books/defin...illy-books

I'm a sucker for Humble Bundle but so many of these books are left unread! Pulled the trigger on this, after purchasing the machine learning, software development and cybersecurity bundles in the past.

Oh well, at least it's for a good cause  Tongue

O'Reilley is definitely considered the gold standard, as far as programming books go. Even if you don't think you're going to use them (for a while), it's totally worth purchasing them just to have them.
