Loan Consolidation

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good bank to consolidate my loans with? I have federal and private loans that are now due which I guess is the negative aspect of being done with my degree.

Or....you could enroll in a master's program like the one at Andrew Jackson University (for free!) and defer your loan repayment for another 3 years.

There really aren't any banks that consolidate loans now after the way the government cut incentives to banks for creating loans. There used be all types of banks that gave incentives (that's what I would go by). I just consolidated my student loans with the federal government. They are the ones that make the loans and now are the only ones that consolidate loans. The few banks that do consolidate loans want at least $20k plus amounts, and some even more.

Now for private loans there are a few more banks that consolidate those. The federal government does not help you with that. Shop around and get the one with the lowest rates. Citibank, AES, Wells Fargo are three off the top of my head.
