I'm baaaaack!
#1
After a year in which I faced a life-threatening disease, quit my job without another one, relocated 600 miles away, found my dream job, etc., I'm back at school. I'm doing the Excelsior ASN (LVN to RN) program and the Patten MBA program. Since both are self-paced, I think I can make this work. My goal is to have the MBA program done in a year, the ASN done in 3 years (there is a year wait for the final clinical portion). Since I'm almost 63 now, it will all be completed so that I can retire at 66. Then as long as I'm physically healthy, I'll pick up 3 months a year as an interim executive or a 13-week travel nurse assignment and pad my retirement fund so I can travel.

I need to take micro-Econ quickly... what options do I have other than Straighterline? I don't think I'm smart enough or dedicated enough to just test out in a dry, boring subject.

Love being back here! Smile

Also, someday maybe a MS in Forensic Psychology, just for fun.   Oh, and a BS in Animal Behavior.  And, maybe when I'm 85 a PhD in something fun.

Check out Study.com. While I didn't take Microeconomics through them, I did take several courses, and I would highly recommend them.

Welcome back.

Welcome back! Love the focused plan moving forward. I really like the option from KayV on Saylor. I did Micro & Macro from Straighterline and found them both far less troublesome as many have reviewed. My daughters when they got bored of my examples, really enjoyed this channel on youtube Macro In 15 Minutes. The speed is kind of fast but the overall share has some nice value.
