I need more credits!

Wow, over $1,000 for a program that tells you to take CLEP exams and gives study tips. Yikes.

I investigated it - looks like a scam.

I mean, I'm sure that most people here at degreeforum would be happy to build a degree plan and share study tips...

And it only covers part of an associate's degree. Lol, I don't get how things like that succeed...

Got it. So you're aiming for Charter Oak? (I know that's what DCAH normally recommends)
I might have a suggestion.

I'd probably suggest Sociology, it doesn't take too long to study for, fits in your gen ed, and fits that 3 credit sticker.

Keep it up!

I am also given a further program after I take an online course at Charter Oak State College to help me get a Bacelor's. DC provides a day by day schedule and was put together by the mother of a Christian homeschool family who put all her kids through a similar series of tests to get their associates and helped them get a bachelors with CLEP, DSST, etc. When they turned 18, they had a bachelors and went on to be lawyers and doctors.  It works; go look at my profile and scores.

Thank you.

I'm not saying it doesn't work - I was just saying that it's quite expensive Smile
Here at IC, you could earn all of that for a lot less. I'm on a similar path except I do it mostly with the help of people here on this forum.

But I'm sure that DCAH is really helpful Smile

I just think that some people who sign up don't realize how they could do it without spending that much money.

The info they provide is free here on the forum and other places, setting up a study schedule isn't hard work. i can't tell you or your family how to spend your money, but these programs that basically just sell off the info we all work on here for free and take advantage of people who aren't aware of it are frustrating.

I see what you're saying; but my parents (especially my mom) are very well researched and haven't steered me wrong yet. I appreciate the advice and I understand what you mean about cost effectiveness on IC vs DCHA .
