I need your help please. Went to Penn Foster
#41
I just did a quick skim and think these are the ones I would go for.
Take the following for the cheapest/easiest/fastest courses:
The majority from Straighterline and two from Saylor

A) General Education
1) SL English Composition II
2) SL Intro to Communications
3) SL Intro to Religion
4) SL American Government

B) Professional Studies
1) SL Financial Accounting (Intermediate Accounting)
2) SL Managerial Accounting (Cost Accounting)
3) Saylor Business Statistics (Operational Management)
4) Saylor Corporate Communications (Management)

Two TECEPS: 1) Business in Society & 2) Strategic Management
Take the Free Ethics course and also the free NFA courses
Optional: Take the free TEEX courses while you're at it!

Take ALEKS for your College Algebra at $20/month, finish 2 courses total.
Since you're at it, you should go for PreCalculus, dump that into "gen ed".
Take Shmoop for 3 History courses at $25/month, finish all 3 courses.
That'll give you 9 credits in your general education requirements.

Ask to have your LAW 202 (3 credit) bumped from Free Elective to Gen Ed Elective.
Bump the FEL-101 (1 CR) and ENG 216 (2 CR) into the Free Elective spot.
Note: Review the wikia, The Basic Approach - Degree Forum Wiki - Wikia
I have a spreadsheet that I copied and modified from dfrecore, just customize it

If you are in need of extra general education requirements.
You can take some cheap Saylor or Straighterline courses.
I think you should be able to finish these in 3-4 months if you try hard.

I have some other advice to add/change:

bjcheung77 Wrote:I just did a quick skim and think these are the ones I would go for.
Take the following for the cheapest/easiest/fastest courses:
The majority from Straighterline and two from Saylor

A) General Education
1) SL English Composition II - you can take the TECEP, I thought it was easy (and faster than the SL course I'm sure)
2) SL Intro to Communications - agree
3) SL Intro to Religion or ask them to move ENG-216 to Info Lit Requirement (this should be considered Tech Writing, otherwise to Gen Ed, then take Tech Writing TECEP since it should be easy for you after this course)
4) SL American Government - check post on here about Saylor's Intro to Comparative Politics, which some consider easier than Am Govt

B) Professional Studies
1) SL Financial Accounting (Intermediate Accounting) - agree
2) SL Managerial Accounting (Cost Accounting) - agree
3) Saylor Business Statistics (Operational Management) - if you don't mind more math, Applied Math TECEP is also very easy after taking Algebra
4) Saylor Corporate Communications (Management) - agree

Two TECEPS: 1) Business in Society & 2) Strategic Management - I would take Study.com's Globalization and International Management for the Int'l Business Requirement instead of Business in Society TECEP
Take the Free Ethics course and also the free NFA courses - don't agree on NFA, you already have Free Electives filled
Optional: Take the free TEEX courses while you're at it! - don't agree, you don't need these

Take ALEKS for your College Algebra at $20/month, finish 2 courses total. - agree
Since you're at it, you should go for PreCalculus, dump that into "gen ed". - agree if you're good at math
Take Shmoop for 3 History courses at $25/month, finish all 3 courses. - agree - and do this NOW! (price is being raised soon, but currently it's $25 for a month, and you can complete all 3 courses within that timeframe
That'll give you 9 credits in your general education requirements.

Ask to have your LAW 202 (3 credit) bumped from Free Elective to Gen Ed Elective. - agree (but I don't think they will do it, they probably consider it similar to a business course)
Bump the FEL-101 (1 CR) and ENG 216 (2 CR) into the Free Elective spot.
