Note: Please also make sure you 'pay' for your enrollment at least a few days to a week in advance to insure you don't fall through the cracks. Enrollment starts when you've paid, you're confirmed for enrollment if you fill all forms and the intention to enroll forms... There's a slight difference between the two, you're confirmed for enrollment vs you're enrolled by paying the enrollment fee. You have to pay to be fully enrolled, otherwise, you're bumped to the next session... I mentioned in another thread to make sure to get everything done at least a couple of weeks ahead of time, don't wait until the last few days.

Hi everyone,
Regarding to the payment (additionally to the previous message) - I want to share a heads-up about payment processing times, especially for fellow international students. Even when using "instant" payment options, the funds can take longer than expected to reach UMPI.
In my experience, I used UMPI's official Transfermate service (with Trustly for "instant" transfer). Despite paying a premium for faster processing, it still took over a week for the payment to reach UMPI (after Transfermate message that "the payment has been completed successfully"). On top of that, I received a message stating that the payment is still "subject to approval and final verification."
Just wanted to share this so others can plan accordingly and avoid any last-minute stress regarding payments.

I remember UMPI was going to discontinue their "Personalized Learning" program, do they still have any kind of accelerated programs?

You're probably thinking of Northern Arizona University, which did discontinue its Personalized Learning competency-based education program. UMPI has continued and expanded its YourPace CBE program.

UMPI has never had a program with this name. UMPI's program is called YourPace which is alive and well.

You are right! It looks like NAU in Arizona was the one that had it, and it looks semi-cancelled.

@pluggingalong, do you know which program you're going to go for? I would apply to UMPI, UoPeople, and if you have many RA and/or ACE/NCCRS credits, TESU may work for you as well.

Right now, I am in WGU, but there are some classes I don't think I can pass, so I am going to probably pivot to another school. I have a hard time with classes that use pass/fail exams. I am going to look for a school that uses mini-projects for credit. Or maybe uses several smaller exams. I have some kind of disability where memorization is almost impossible for me, so I am going to have to work around it. NAU-PL used essays, and I had confused that with UMPI Yourpace. I just spent 2 months preparing for an exam, and got about a 60% on it. My brain is dead. I just want to build things.

I have already applied for fall 2. I have 101 credits from 1995 and earlier. Can anyone take a look and see what is likely to transfer and what isn’t?

Thanks!

Simple answer: Wait for your evaluation. Here's my reply in your thread: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid443818
