Gloom, despare and Agony on me!!!!! I got my first D on EC Research Methods in Psycology. I did what I said I wouldn't do. I took a test I wasn't prepared for to stay on my self imposed schedule of having all of my test done by Christmas for a Feb. conferral. The test was tough but I blame me. I used all of the resourced mentoned in the specifiv thread but I didn't study long enough. The last two weeks I barely looked at anything. Any idea how long you have to wait to retake an Ecelsior Exam? I need all UL Arts and Science credits so with the IC material available, I need this test.

Oh bummer. Just a thought, what if you took the TECEP Research Methods test? I think it's about $250 but you wouldn't have to wait - and if you hit the books hard you might be able to do it soon.

I think it is quite a bit more expensive. I think 150 per credit hour.

I will have to check it out. How/where do you take a TECEP? I bombed Social Psych today so I went from a 15 game winning streak to a 2 day losing streak. I was going to be fiished in 2 weeks, it's not looking good now. I signed up for EC Ethics for one replacement, now I will look into the TECEP and see what my other options are.

As of a few years ago, if you failed an ECE test, you have to wait 60 days to retake the test after your first failure; and 120 days after your subsequent failure.
However, you should probably double check to make sure this information is still current. I feel your pain.

Yes, it is still a 60 day waiting period. I just dont want to wait 2 more months. I guess rushing here at the end is what got me into this mess though.

TECEP lets you find your own proctor. I used my local library (for free). Mine were paper based, but there are a couple (not many) on computer now- not sure how you do those.
