Just taking classes at Study.com now isn’t enough to waive the cornerstone anymore. I just got this email from TESU:

“As of July 1st TES-100 is only waived for Study.com Working Scholars, Nursing Students, and/or those that have 104 or more credits on their initial Academic Evaluation. Those that have Study.com or any corporate code added after July 1st will need to take TES-100.”

Wow.  Good to know.

As someone who took the course (I needed 1 additional credit for residency purposes under an older catalog), holy crap that was a worthless course.

I am more worried about the length of time it will take. I had counted on having my Study.com membership waive the cornerstone so I am blindsided now. I had hoped to complete all my courses in October and apply for graduation, now I am thinking I can't, since the cornerstone is supposed to be a 3 month course. How long did it take you? I wish i had known this beforehand, i would have chosen a different school.

An HOUR or two at the most.

Are you already enrolled?  If not, you can wait until you are at 104cr and then it will get waived that way.

If you can't get it waived, sign up right away so that you can do it Day 1 of the August or September term and you'll be fine.

It looks like TESU changed TECEP pricing to be cheaper for LL but more expensive for UL. I thought it was previously $39 per credit.

TECEP Tuition
Lower Level TECEP Exams (100-200): $25 per credit registered
Upper Level TECEP Exams (300-400): $75 per credit registered

So now LL TECEP's are $75, and UL are $225. It's not an outrageous amount of money to pay for UL credit (CSU-Global CBE's are $250), and the price for the LL ones are now pretty darn cheap. Plus, I'm not certain that many people were taking TECEP's to begin with here. There are plenty of other options.

That info is on a PLA page. I'm not sure it applies generally because the main TECEP page shows $39 per credit for enrolled students and $53 per credit if not enrolled. Don't have link, but I saw it last night.
TESU BA June 2018.
Various business certificates still to do.

The title of the page is now TECEP and PLA Tuition, and I don't see TECEP pricing anywhere else in the tuition and fees section
