Looking to check soundness of plan
#1
applied to TEdison and was accepted, am putting off enrollment until it makes sense financially.
sent 80 college credits in transcripts to TEdison which they accepted
started taking Dantes tests (3 so far), plan to finish BA with all tests and the required Capstone
I will delay enrolling until I have most of the tests completed and am ready to take the capstone
it looks like I should choose the Enrolled Options, pay $1642 annual fee for NJ resident, and $510 for capstone
add in the testing costs and that should be it.

does that sound right? I can just keep taking tests and having the results sent to TEdison? they will hold them indefinitely?

possible problems I see are:
I won't have academic approval of my plan and the tests I plan to take
since I'm not enrolled, changes to my chosen degree plan are possible and my plan won't be grandfathered

My initial Academic Evaluation was for BA in Liberal Arts. Thanks to advice from Sanantone I switched that to BA Social Sciences. Ran that through the TE System and am using the results to plan the tests I will take. Does anyone know if the college stands by the Academic Evaluation generated by the system or do you have to wait to meet with an advisor to have it approved? Since I don’t want to enroll until I’m closer (pay only one annual fee), I won’t be meeting with an advisor.

I hope to post my plan here and ask for input - as soon as I've finished it : )

TESC will only hold your scores and transcripts for 6 months before they make you go through the application process again. So, you have 6 months to enroll unless you're willing to apply again. After you enroll, you will still have a year to finish before you have to pay another enrollment fee.

I don't know if TESC will stand by one of their "what-if" evaluations. My theory is that the evaluation won't put something somewhere it doesn't belong. However, the evaluation might not put something where it could go.
