CALLING ALL FEMALES: your help is needed!!
#21
P.S. I don't know how much longer you have to do your paper, but the people I've seen be most successful in obtaining information like this create an online survey and post it on Facebook. I believe you can create a free one at Survey Monkey - then just send the link to everyone in your social network and ask others to do the same. If you had a link like that here, others could even help by passing on the link easily. It may be too late to do this, but thought I'd mention it just in case...

I buy what I like what I can afford and what I think looks good on others with my body type. My favorite store is Kohl's and I tend to buy most of my clothes there. Even when I was young and skinny I never liked most of the fashion trends so I did my own thing.

What is your main source of fashion inspiration?

I wear what I personally like and what feels comfortable, though I sometimes look to celebrities with similar styles for inspiration (Emmanuelle Alt, Jennifer Aniston), esp if I will be dressing in a way I am not quite familiar dressing (ie: cocktail party).

I honestly do think that a lot of women will say that they wear what they personally like even though they are highly influenced by fashion trends. However, most of the people on this website are thrifty and/or antisocial, so we aren't representative of the general population. LOL.

Thanks so much to all you ladies!! I now have a SurveyMonkey survey. (Thanks for the idea, Burbuja0512!) Big Grin Here is the link: FOR AMERICAN FEMALES ONLY: What are your main sources of fashion inspiration? Survey I'd appreciate it if you (guys too!) could share it around! If you've already given answers on this thread, please DON'T answer again on the link as that would skew the results Smile Once again, many thanks!! Big Grin
