Max FEMA credits Accepted @ TESC

Hello to all,


I am trying to figure something out. I have two goals in mind.

One is getting into NYPD and also getting ASBA. First I need 60 credits just to get into the academy. I was wondering if I can credit bank @ TESC 40 FEMA credits?

I know they won’t count towards my requirements. I believe only 6 for free electives. Then I would CLEP my way to 60.


Is it possible or do they only accept FEMA credits that are comparable to theirs?

I'm not sure if it's different for each degree program, but I am currently earning my BA in Criminal Justice from TESC, and they told me the Max for FEMA credits is 24, and all counted towards free electives.

I'm going for my Associates, max is 12.

For going into the Academy, FEMA credits will help a lot. I did all the FEMA's and got 30 credits. You can only use a certain number of them towards a degree, but they'll still be on your transcripts.
