I would begin with Macro then go for Micro. IC alone has proven to be enough for many people to pass. If both subjects are new to you and you are looking for a broad overview, then you can sit back and watch a few videos here for free

Macro first. I found the Petersons exams to be helpful as well.

CLEP: American Government: 60
