Modern States almost out of vouchers?

You have to complete the course with I believe a 70-75% or better on all the practice problems. After you receive the voucher, it's good for up to 6 months(i think).

I had a voucher for several months before I ordered the CLEP ticket. The ticket is good for 6 months. So you have a good chunk of time.

No, you can't order a voucher without completing the course. You are required to send a screenshot of the Progress Chart. They won't give you the voucher without a completed chart.

So we're looking at about a week or less before we hit 10,000.

Although this is technically the number of vouchers requested, not the number of vouchers issued. This number is generated when you request a voucher not when they issue it. Some people may have requested a voucher and not received it because they didn't finish the course or get a passing score. So it is possible that the number of vouchers issued is lower than 9701. Let's hope.

So once they reach 10,000 ModernStates will no longer be giving out vouchers, the program will be over?

Not necessarily. We're just speculating at this point. But if you're working on a MS course I'd try to finish it in the next few days and request a voucher just in case.

Just submitted one, my request number is 9731. I wonder what percentage of voucher requests have been granted? I'm guessing it's fairly high since they are fairly clear about having to complete the course first.

If you don't do so well on the practice problems can you go back and redo them, or would you be required to retake the entire course again in order to pass for the voucher?

I did 3 courses through MS and they all allowed me multiple tries to answer the questions. Intro psych I got 2 tries per question but my other 2 I had 3 tries per question. The practice questions at the end seem to be the same as the ones that are throughout, so if one is actually studying/trying and paying attention to questions they get wrong, they should have no problem getting a satisfactory grade by the end.

I believe someone who wasn't paying attention and failed it, mentioned they were able to have their course reset so they could try again.

I was emailing MS about a separate issue(one of checks didn't arrive for some reason, no worries it was resolved) and asked them outright about the vouchers and they responded, "Modern States will be providing CLEP voucher for the foreseeable future. "

I'm assuming they can foresee more than a week in advance so no need to panic.
