OK, here's hoping they'll keep the next cohort at the same pricing or rate as it currently is set to...

Quote:Hello,
There has been an update with the second pilot for our AI Program. Admissions will not be allowing non-partnered students to join the second pilot. I have been working with admissions in the background trying to have them make an acceptation, but with most recent I received, they will not be allowing non-partnered students to join. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Our only option would be to look at different programs. If you are no longer interested in moving forward, I understand. Please let me know how you would like to proceed.
I received this email today. It looks like after accepting and admitting people to the second cohort, they are now going to limit it strictly to partner institutions. Very disappointing to hear they will be retroactively making the change for people already planned to start in January.

Well I am one of the ones who has completed the MBA already. Overall, not a bad time, one teacher who was problematic, but overall it could have been worse. Plus it only cost me 1500 bucks, plus the graduation fee (150 if I remember correctly).

What are the requirements to get the $1500 fee? I asked about this earlier in the thread, but got confused a bit, it seems only the initial or second cohorts are authorized that price point. What other requirements are needed to get in on this deal of the decade?!

At this point, you have to be employed by one of the sponsoring employers to get this price.

What other requirements are needed to get in on this deal of the decade?! I think I just got lucky. Seems like now they are only accepting partner people, but then I read some are randomly getting in. I'd recommend just applying and seeing if you get in for that price.

Just completed course 9. I have 3 courses left and a little over 5 weeks to get it done. Gonna be cutting it close, but the grind is on. Definitely doable within 6 months.
Will be interested to see what they do with this program once the pilots are complete. Will it always only be for employees of partner programs or will they open it up to the masses.

Came back to share I have officially completed all courses for the MBA. Within 6 months. There are rumors that they will be launching the MBA program in the Fall of 2026, with admissions opening in the Summer. If I get confirmation I will report back with the information. Don't want to share any other details as even with this pilot program many things changed along the way.

Happy to hear you were able to finish within the 6 months. Congratulations! How was the coursework in the MBA program, if you don't mind sharing? What were the average number of papers per course, any exams, discussion posts, modules, projects, or PowerPoint presentations, and anything difficult we should know? This information may be helpful to those considering applying to the MBA program at UMass Global when applications open up.
