New edition textbook cheaper? (TESC, English Composition II)
#1
Hey all,

I've lost count of how many textbook questions I've asked as of late, but this one amuses me; is it normal for a new version of a textbook to be cheaper than a previous, used edition?

I'm trying to shop now for my English Composition II class, and it seems like a new edition is out: Research for Writers: Advanced English Composition: 9781465253217: Reference Books @ Amazon.com

Which is cheaper than the one from the syllabus, on top of being Prime eligible.

I guess it'll be up to the instructor to decide if this book is fine?
