Hi Everyone,

Anyone know whether UMPI credits are good for comissioning as for US Airforce OTS?? I am close to graduating and essentially did majority of my credits through Sophia online. 

I know when trying for a higher NCO rank as a Enlisted, they only want local community college or CCAF credit only for Associates degree. They did not accept Sophia credit for ranking up.

OTS does not discriminate as to where your bachelors is from as long as it's an accredited institution. Which UMPI is. It is part of the Maine state system.

What OTS does care about is the degree CIP code. Look up the AFOCD matrix in the TFOT guide. That part is way more important since degrees with certain CIP codes qualify you for specific jobs.

Have you discussed this with your career counselor (I do not know what it's called in the Air Force) and chain of command? Sustained superior performance, as you know, is a must.
