One hour UL class for COSC

I was trying to find a 1 hr. UL class for COSC, to round up my current 8 hr. (S/L 6 and Inst. 2 hr.) but they said no to the below classes.  COSC said the below would transfer in as LL electives.    

Am I wrong to assume an UL class at Missouri State Universtiy should transfer as an UL class at COSC?

Anyone have any other ideas for a 1 hour class?

Can you appeal? Talk to them in more detail about why it wasn't considered UL?

I wish I could help suggest an UL credit like what you're looking for, but it's been too long since I graduated. (I just responded bc I hate to see someone from COSC not getting an answer to their question)

Do you have their list of transfer credits? When I was there years ago, they had a chart that I called the master list that showed the tests and how they transferred - whether it was UL/LL and whether it was considered liberal arts or not. If you don't have this, check with your counselor.

Separately, it is sometimes easier to just bite the bullet and find a 3 credit course than digging for a 1 credit course. This question comes up from time to time, and there are just so few.

check some of the FEMA courses. they're free, and iirc at least one is UL
