Cornell University is launching a fully online Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS). It’s designed to be part-time and primarily asynchronous.
The first major will be “Organizations, Markets and Society.” Applications will open in January 2027 and coursework begin in fall 2027.

Via Steve Foerster at the sister board, Cornell SC Johnson College of Business is also launching a short-residency-option MS in Business Analytics with concentrations in Finance Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Operations and Supply Chain Analytics, and Business Analytics.

You must be at least four years beyond high school or secondary school graduation
You must have earned 45 to 60 transferable college credits from a regionally accredited institution. (Please note that dual-enrollment course credits might not transfer.)
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is recommended
Applicants with lower GPAs may be considered based on professional experience and a statement of academic readiness.

Preliminary tuition is $925 per credit hour, with need-based financial aid available to those who qualify.
