I am looking for a self-paced, open enrollment course in English Composition. I have been searching the web and the forum, but have not come across any colleges that offer a course.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey Randy.
I think Penn Foster's ENG 100 English Composition course is the best deal out there right now.
It's 3 credits and will cost you $220 exactly ($65 per credit hour x 3 credit hours + $25 proctor fee). I haven't taken this course, but this information is accurate.
I signed up for the 1 credit Information Literacy course and the woman who helped me was very friendly...her name was Wendy. There is also another woman I spoke to named Ann, and she was also very pleasant.
Call 800-961-6407 and choose option 1. Tell them you would like to sign up for the ENG 100 English Composition course. You can either pay in full or setup a payment plan by putting down $50. If you are not already in Penn Foster's system, you will have to wait maybe 2 business days for them to give you a student number. You will then receive it by email along with instructions as to how to proceed with the course.
If you decide to take this course, please be sure to let us know what you thought of it.
Hope you find this information useful.
Good luck to you in all of your future endeavors.

I took PFC Eng 100 and I completed it it in about a month not to difficult, just a pain in the butt figuring out what they want on the papers.
Not to bad I recommend them or Straighterline for Eng Comp 1.

I did the LSU course a few years ago, however if I had known about the PFC course I would have gone that way.
