Pell grant at tesc

hey, I would like to enroll wih tesc for a BA, my FAFSA efc is around 6500 because I was working a lot in 07 however I didnt work in 08 at all, should I wait until January to get a Pell grant and then enroll with tesc? any suggestions info would be welcome, ah it's my first BA and never had any student loan or Pell Grant before, thanks ah one last thing as FAFSA is based on tax should I wait to file tax for 08 or I can file the fafsa starting after Jan 09 ? thanks
