Someone on the other forum linked to Penn Foster's page of articulation agreements. COSC is listed as a partner institution. Does anyone know if this means that COSC will accept Penn Foster's non-ACE-approved courses? It's weird because PF links to COSC's page that says that they will only accept credits from regionally accredited institutions.

Here is the exact info:
It looks like it only applies to these programs at COSC and credit limits apply. Only ACE approved courses can be transferred.
BS Computer Information Systems (27 credits)
BS Early Childhood Education (51 credits)
BS Health Care Management (24 credits)
BS Human Resource Management (66 credits)
BS Interior Design (15 credits)

Does Charter Oak even have some of these programs? Requiring ACE approval is not a real articulation agreement. How wack.

that is sort of what I thought too
I mean BS Interior Design ?? This agreement is current as of 3/8/16...interesting
HOWEVER
none of the other colleges listed with this agreement have courses that must be ACE approved. So it may be useful to others ...only COSC requires the ACE approval

what does this
# of TR Credits (from Complete Program)
in cell D1 of the excel file mean ?
does that mean you have to complete the Penn Foster degree to be able to transfer the credits to COSC ?
or does it mean its the most you can transfer from the completed program (if so then "from Complete Program" seems kind of unnecessary)

I took it to mean x many of specific credits/courses will transfer from the diploma/degree program you complete. So I don't think you would be granted credit for individual courses.
For example, If you earn an AS in ECE from PF you will be granted 66cr towards your BS-HRM program at COSC. (Only ACE courses will be applied).
