Background: I have a friend who's daughter goes to a 4-yr state school, as a Marine Chemistry major. She has been a straight-A student her whole life, has won numerous awards, and several prestigious internships in college (she's still in, having earned a full scholarship for the last 2 years recently).
Her first semester in school, she took a Stats course, which she described as "hard" and was the first A- she ever earned in her life. When she came home for Christmas break, she was looking for something educational to do, to keep her brain working. Yeah, she's crazy. So I told her to try the ALEKS Intro to Stats course. She texted me that it was insanely hard, she took over 2 hours to do the first Assessment, and that she scored a 30% on it! She was shocked at that. She said there was tons of stuff on there that she had never seen.
Just to let you know that ALEKS Stats is no joke.
