Does Straiterline or anyone else have anything that will fill the oral communication requirement from Thomas Edison? I know Coopersmith has but is there anything else?

I took Presentation Skills in the Workplace at SDC. It was ridiculously easy and quick.

Would Thomas Edison accept the Saylor Academy Business Communication class for their Oral Communication requirement?

Sophia has one. Keep an eye out for coupons they offer for TESU.

I did my Public Speaking through Study.com when the Guardian scholarship was still around. I think I had to record at least three video speeches for review (I can't remember if there were more). TESU accepted the course for my Oral Communications requirement. I thought the course was pretty decent overall.

No.  No Saylor course works.  Those mentioned on here, anything called Oral Comm or Speech or Public Speaking will work.

There's a DSST as well.  And some TECEP's that will work.

Communications 120: Presentation Skills in the Workplace from Study.com is the course to take. It transfers to TESU as COM-290 : Presentational Speaking and fulfills the gen ed public speaking requirement.

There are no actual speeches or presentations required. Just pass the quizzes and final.
