Keep in mind that academic advising's job is to recommend courses for you to take at TESU. They don't go out of their way to suggest courses via external sources, and most advisors don't really have a strong grasp on transfer credits in general.
Do they want stats or will they accept business stats?
All stats courses come in as the same evaluation at TESU (STA-201 Intro to Statistics), so it doesn't really matter. Take whichever one you prefer.
