Question on applying vs enrolling at TESC before July 1st
#1
Hi

I was under the impression that TESC would hold you to the requirements in place when you first applied but I'm seeing a lot of posts about people enrolling before July 1st. So which one is it? Could you apply right now and then wait six months to enroll thus pushing your completion deadline out a year and a half and still be grandfathered in or must you pay the enrollment before July 1st to qualify? This doesn't apply to me but I think it's something that needs to be clarified. Thanks guys

Could you please explain what you are referring to when you say "grandfathered in"? Thanks--I am new to all of this, and trying to follow along and understand everything.

TESC's new catalog is effective on the 1st of July every year, so if you want to make sure you are working on your degree under the current catalog you have to enroll by 7/1. This thread has been covering the changes we know of so far that are effective 7/1/13.

It was officially confirmed this morning by an admissions councilor at TESC that you only have to apply to carry the current reqs over for 6 months from acceptance. Walter hit the nail on the head.. Thanks for all of your help, Walter.
