Quickest Associate in Human Science, Psychology or Sociology,
#11
The BOG programs are not an option for those who already have a degree.

Agency director must have either a bachelor's degree in a human service field (such as social work, psychology, education, nursing, or closely related field)

or

have an associate degree in nursing, education, or a related field

These requirements are different from what you originally stated. Do you need a bachelors in a human services field or do you need an associates in a human services field? The associates programs you listed aren't in human science, psychology, or sociology. If only an associates in nursing or education are acceptable, then your options are much more limited. You'd have to complete more work to get a bachelor's in a human services-related field.

And, what do they consider to be related to nursing or education? Do they consider health science closely-related? You already have the equivalent of a health science degree.

Edit:  I say your explanation.  I'm still thinking you could do the BOG very quickly and inexpensively.

No BOG if you already have a degree.

I'm with Sanantone, I can't quite figure out what the requirements are. Is Human Services and Human Sciences the same? Is CJ considered Human Sciences? Will they switch it out on you after you spend the time getting a degree?

I would throw out a couple of degrees to them, and make them put in writing if the degree you want will work.

TESU's Human Services degree can't be tested out of that I can see. Either can the Sociology degree that I know of (looking at the requirements, it would be hard). Psych is the best bet there. You have almost all of the Gen Ed requirements.

Patten's AA in CJ should only cost $1316 for a 4-month term if you can make sure you have most of the requirements met. The Psych/CJ BA would be more work, but could still be tested out of for most, leaving the same $1316 for a 4-month term.
