Residence Waiver Fee (TESU)
#31
inf Wrote:I have an ASNSM and a BSBA CIS I'm almost done with.  Can I graduate with the associates now and pay and wait 11 months for the BSBA CIS on the same waiver fee?

If you get the Bachelors within 12 months, the residency waiver will not need to be paid a second time. But you will need to pay an extra graduation fee of $298 as your cert/associates are at a different graduation date than the Bachelors. If you read my posts before, I highly recommend people getting everything in graduation date.

However, some people like to have that "ego boost" or that piece of paper as a mini goal before they hit the finish line with a Bachelors, if that's your case and $298 isn't too much of an investment, go for it! Just make sure to FINISH the Bachelors within 12 months or else you'll be hit with another residency waiver.

Now to elaborate what I mentioned earlier and what confused you. If you get an Associates/Certificate and a Bachelors, that residency fee is done as you have completed that Bachelors. If you go for another Cert/Associates or a Bachelors after that first Bachelors - there is an additional residency fee, even if you are within the 12 months.

I was told something very different from TESU about the residency fee waiver. Here is my question and reply from TESU (student accounts department).

My question: "July, 2019, I paid the residency waiver fee, on December, 2019, I graduated with a BSBA. Would I be required to pay another residency waiver fee even if I completed another degree before July, 2020"?

Answer from TESU: "Will not required to pay for another residency waiver fee"
