Sorry for your loss. The degree is important, but taking care of yourself and those you love are even more so.

My condolences, I also agree with what allvia mentioned, family is always first... you can continue on the degree at your desired pace after making sure you and your family are safe.

Did you discuss your situation with your mentor? You can get a break and it will extend your 6 month term.

Good job passing IT Management. It took me two attempts to pass mine. I'm about to start a new thread titled "I'M DONE".....That's right, I completed my capstone last night....Party Time

I'm thinking I'm going to switch to MSCSIA at WGU. I can't get motivated to finish this degree. I'll finish the Financials for IT class to get my tuition reimbursement. It will take another year for it to recharge, but in the meantime I can study for PenTest+ and CHFI and (with the CISSP I have currently), come into the MSCSIA only needing to complete 5 classes in 6 months. With courses that I'm actually interested in taking.

That MSCSIA does look pretty sweet for people in cybersecurity.
One guy did the entire master's in 2 weeks though he knew everything beforehand and had all the certs. I don't think he transferred in the certs though.

I seriously doubt I could pull that one off, but one course a month with 2 months for the capstone sounds straightforward enough.
