I was wondering this because Essay 1 & 2 are only worth 25 points whereas Essay 3 is worth 50.
Possible Points
Quizzes 100
Essay 1 25
Essay 2 25
Essay 3 50
Proctored Final Exam 100
Total 300
So I was thinking if I scored well on quizzes and the final, maybe I would only have to do essay 3 to get a passing score...thoughts from anyone?

You can go in any order. It’s my understanding though that you have to turn in at least something for all the assignments or the course won’t be marked as completed.

In my experience, the graders weren’t too stringent. Their observations and reasons for cutting down points were valid and reasonable. But I believe some members on this forum have come across tougher graders.

Mine was really strict and (in my opinion) bordering on unreasonable. I always got high grades on the papers i did at 'real' college previously, and this SDC grader was picking at things that were nonexistent problems. I have seen others on this forum say differently, so i think it just depends on the grader you get, and I was unlucky

Do you get an opportunity to revise and resubmit?

You can revise and resubmit one time I believe using their submission method. It may have changed but when I used SDC, it showed I could revise and resubmit either 2 or 3 times.
I wouldn't sweat it too much. In the off chance you do poorly on the paper, just resubmit following the comments and rubric.
