Same here. I didn't lose the cam, the entire secure browser was frozen.  I was able to log in again with code and continue.

They will either let you retake the exam, or if you got a good enough score to pass the course, they will pass you with the incomplete exam. This has happened to me a couple times.

But that's good info about just logging back in with the password. If this happens to me again, god forbid, I'll try that.

Final update: I got an email today from study.com in reply to my support ticket saying they will refer the issue to their colleague who can further assist me. An hour later I got an email from a student success coach who told me my current score and gave me the option to keep it or have the exam reset. He also gave me the phone number for RP Now which is 855-436-2039.

Guys I am so happy it looks like I passed by 1 point.  Big Grin

Thanks everyone for the replies and the info about being able to log back in with the exam code. I will try that in the future if this happens again and I hope this information may be helpful to others with the same issue. As a few have mentioned, SDC support seems to be very helpful once you have gotten through to them.

This happened to me twice in the last couple of weeks. The first time I only got two questions in and it shutdown. I contacted Study.com and they said they will get back to me. It took like 4 or 5 days but they reset the test for me. They were waiting until it was graded.

The second time I did what was mentioned before. I had the code written down so I just re-opened the test and switched to another webcam.

It seems part of the problems I was having was using an external webcam on my laptop instead of the lower quality integrated one.
