SOPHIA test- transfer to non-degree transcript

Sophia's English courses are slow as molasses right now. If you don't mind spending the money, ASU's "earned admissions" $100 courses (you don't actually have to attend ASU if you don't want to; they'll send a transcript wherever you want it to) for ENG101 and/or ENG102 (that one doesn't start until August and might not be on sale then) might be the way to go.

Yes daughter is reg for the ASU course ENG 101 and it looks easy as can be. I just thought the Sophia would be faster option -- but on the hand the ASU course looks to only take a few fast weeks to with some determination. 5 essays and a bunch of modules.  She needs ENG 102 though so thinking Sophia (open for ANYTHING that is fast) … how long does it take to get the CR once it is done ???

Once everything is DONE, Sophia credit takes 1-2 days to process. The problem is that it's taking a month or more for people to get their essays graded. I just saw this: "Due to increased Touchstone submissions, grading time can take up to 14 business days for each Touchstone assignment. If you have course completion deadline concerns, please contact the Sophia Learning Coach team." but there are people on the boards here that have reported waiting 20-something days. If she starts ENG102 right this instant and does everything as she's able to (some essays can be submitted before the previous ones have been graded), she might be done in a month or a month and a half.

If speed is essential, I would definitely go with ASU for 101 and might as well try Sophia for 102. ASU might put 102 on a self-study course; but I wouldn't count on it. They've added a few courses since they started, so it could happen.
