I included them since she may have interest in them, or she may prefer not to have the majority of the score/grade based entirely on the final exam (with the LL courses, ⅔ is based on the final exam and ⅓ is based on the quizzes; with the UL courses, ⅓ is quizzes, ⅓ is the final, and ⅓ is the assignments).

Yes, the CLEP and Study.com Intro to Psychology will duplicate the Sophia.org course. If she is a good test taker, even for ESL, then she may opt to go with the 3 CLEP exams.

If she's not confident, then Study.com is a good option to ladder the overlapping courses, so some components are completed if she does all 4 courses, the weight on the final exam is lesser.

Last but not least, if she's into writing and NOT a great test taker, may a UL Study.com course would be better, as the assignment will take 33% of the course, lowering the final exam to 33% of the course along with 33% of the quizzes.

I have taken just about every one they have so not really. It just depends on your interests. Abnormal Psych is easy to pay attention to though, because it's unusual. Organizational Psych was interesting to me because I run my own company. It might not be so interesting to anyone else. They're all good in their own way.

If you don't need UL credit I would just do LL classes. They're lots faster. But the whole point is to learn something so I usually just take whatever I want first and try to fit it into a degree plan second.
