E-packs are self-paced courses unfortunately only some courses are available as e-pack:

Note that TES-100 is on the list. So I guess that means a bunch of us here have already taken an e-pack course.

Hey, mysonx3!
I was thinking I needed the 3 credits from SOS-110 in order to meet the 6 credit minimum to use financial aid that term?
Thanks!

D What I'm suggesting would have you lose financial aid for that term (by dropping to 3 credits), but gain it for your first term (by bumping you from 3 to 6). So unless you're going to be seeing a change in your FAFSA information in the interim, it should be a wash in the aggregate, while theoretically making your workload more manageable/evenly-spread.

I don't believe that TECEPs will count towards the credits required for financial aid, just like they don't count towards residency. I am pretty sure that you must take actual full-tuition courses from the college in both cases. However, as was mentioned earlier, you can take e-pack courses which are just a self-study exam much like a TECEP.

Ah yes, I did pick up on that but forgot to go back and edit my post to ask something else, my apologies.
I'm wondering why it is believed that MAR-321-TECEP would be easier than SOS-110? The reason why I ask is I recall seeing someone post that SOS-110 can be pretty much done ahead of time? Then I would only really need to worry about Capstone, whereas I would need to study for the TECEP while doing Capstone?
Thanks again!!!

I don't think it's assumed to be easier - but there's no rule on when you have to study for and take your TECEP. So, if you register for it during a certain term, you could take it on day 7, or 23, or 76 if you want. You can study for it ahead of time, or during the term, or whatever.
